This winter, Erin Stumps Projects (ESP) Gallery is filled with the latest works created by Tamara Henderson. “Under The Poplar” is the title given to this exhibition of works, created in a natural, forestry color palette. The ESP Gallery will host Henderson’s work at its Toronto venue until December 2, 2017.

Henderson is an artist from Sackville who currently lives and works in an itinerant fashion. The artist studied at Royal Art Academy, Stockholm, Sweden, Städelschule Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste, with Professor Simon Starling, Frankfurt am Main, Germany and Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her work has been presented at various group exhibitions including Rodeo, Istanbul (2013); dOCUMENTA (13), Kassel (2012); and On the Tip of My Tongue, Magasin 3 (2013), Western Front, Vancouver (2013). Her recent solo exhibitions include “Evergreen Minutes of the Phantom Figure” at Nuremberg Kunstverein (2013); and “Bottle Under the Influence” (with Julia Feyrer), Walther Philips Gallery. Henderson was also a shortlist finalist for Sobey Award (2013). Her upcoming exhibitions include Galerie Nordenhake in Stockholm; Apartment, Vancouver; and Graz Kunstverein, Austria.

The exhibition will be on view through December 2, 2017, at ESP Gallery, 1558 Dupont Street, Toronto, Ontario M6P 3S6, Canada.
