Gabrielle Moser, 29, is a Toronto-based writer and independent curator. She regularly contributes to and in the past year her writing has appeared in venues including “Canadian Art,” “esse,” “The Journal of Curatorial Studies,” and the catalogue for the CCA Wattis exhibition, “On Apology.” Last June, Moser curated the group exhibition, “Always Working,” for Vancouver’s Access Gallery, and is currently programming a series of events about exhibiting difficult photographs as curator-in-residence at Gallery TPW R&D. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the art history and visual culture program at York University, where she also teaches.
